1999 Honda Odyssey has vibrations when accellerating

My car has high milage. Transmission checked out fine. When I accellerate above 35mph, the car shakes from vibrations in the engine area. When I am coasting, the car rides smooth. What shouls I look at?

CV Joint?

Thanks in advance,

- Tosh

It really depends on where the vibration is coming from i.e. engine, drivetrain, etc. I would suspect motor mounts or perhaps a harmonic vibration from the engine from such things as the harmonic balancer. The best way to know for sure is to have a qualified technician formally inspect and diagnose your concern.
