Maybe it's tired! I would look at the basic stuff like fluid level first. If the fluid is low that would certainly account for the noise but the fluid has to go somewhere so I would suspect a leak. If the noise is from mechanical components it could from the strut seats or upper bearings. The best way to know for sure is to have a qualified technician formally inspect and diagnose your concern.
