What do you think of  engine air filters like the K&N which claim better fuel milage & 100,000 miles before replacement ? I have recently purchased a 2006 Mustang GT & was thinking of installing one of these in lieu of replacing  the factory air filter.Will this void the factory warranty? Has anyone had any experience using these?

They are an awesome filter! A little pricey out of the gate but worth it.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

 Do you currently have this filter in your car? If so, are you getting more mpg or power? A friend of mine  bought one for his Toyota Corolla & he told me it didn't seem to make much difference, other than not having to replace the filter every 15,000 miles & making the engine sound louder when he stepped on the gas pedal.

I don't on any of my current vehicles and yes it did sound great on acceleration!
