My truck ( chev 1500 v8 4.8l ) had a dead battery. I jumped started it and would like to know how long it needs to run to charge the battery so that it will start tomorrow on its own?

I would have the battery slow charged with a battery char...

I would have the battery slow charged with a battery charger as just running the truck can either hurt the alternator or not sufficiently charge the battery to get it where it needs to be.
