altima shaking burning smell

I have a 1995 nissan altima. A few weeks ago the car started slightly jerking when i was idling and reversing. Also sometimes when i would drive between 45mph and 50mph but if i pressed the gas pedal a little harder it would stop. when i started the car today i reversed out and it stalled but started right back up. While driving the car started to shake and felt like it was struggling to accelerate but aventually did. I smelled a burning smell inside the car. The car was not overheating. When i parked i noticed the tailpipe was touching the bottom of the car and had melted it a bit. The car starts up fine but is shaking badly.

I would get this a place of repair ASAP. There may be a variety of issues going on here and the best way to know for sure is to have a qualified technician formally inspect and diagnose your concern.
