have a question regarding a noise with my car

I had a set of tires installed on my car. When I drove it home I noticed a scraping sound when the brakes are applied. I took it back. They say that they did not do anything wrong. The brakes are good. My car never made this sound until I had the tires put on.What do you think? Thanks. R.J. Bryant

It is possible when they tightened up the lug nuts the nuts were not torque properly which may have had an effect on the brake rotors. The best way to know for sure is to have a qualified technician formally inspect and diagnose your concern.
