Reading Julio Soto's article on discovering our National Parks brought back wonderful memories of my personal discoveries on a similar trip. A friend and I toured six states and eight parks in fourteen days, and were awestruck each and every day by the glorious scenery. Teddy Roosevelt certainly knew what he was talking about when he said " We have fallen heirs to the most glorious heritage..." Our country is incredible, and we travelers are fortunate each time we experience any of the wonders that surround us. Thanks, Julio, for letting me reminisce while reading about your adventures.
