Hello Adrienne,

My New Year's resolution is:  "Believe in myself" when others do not. I find that old friends and family can be  discouraging sometimes. I am 55+ in age and I enjoy being in the company of young people at work, school and church. I do not want to use a cliche' but I will. Younger America is the future of America.  And I want to hear what they say, because they encourage me to "Believe in Myself."

As a grandmother to a 7 year old, I transport her back and forth to school each school day.  I volunteer at two different elementary schools most of those days.  My resolutions for 2012 include continuing transporting my granddaughter, and continuing voluteering at the two schools, but also will include my losing weight and getting back in shape.  Another goal I'm shooting for is to make several much needed repairs at home.  Come 2013, I can only imagine what else might fulfill me.
