I am flabergasted and scared after my afternoon drive, taking my son to the airport this afternoon. First, a car which partially made a right turn decided to not make the turn and sat perpendicular to the east bound cross traffic while waiting to merge back into the north bound lane. How about finishing your wrong turn, making a safe U-turn and then proceeding safely in the proper direction?
At the airport a car took an exit into the rental car return and decided that's not where he wanted to be and made a U-turn and sat facing the wrong way on a one-way exit.
I saw numerous vehicles at the airport and elsewhere cross solid lines to switch directions, sometimes across multiple lanes.
Drivers should be taught to correct directional errors in a more safe manner. Vehicles are not toys on your own private roads which you can drive wherever whenever you want. There are rules of the road so we can all drive safely.
