What drives me nutsOptions

What drives me nuts? When I get behind a driver who has no idea of how to merge! In the town that I live in there is a right turn where there is a protected right lane, (solid white line) so that cars that have just made a right can gain speed before they attempt to merge with traffic that is traveling at the least, the posted speed limit, which is 50mph. For some reason many drivers after they make the turn, stop in the lane to wait until the traffic clears. Then they cross the solid line into the right lane of the divided four lanes, and accelerate. This causes the traffic that has backed up behind them to have to go slow until they get past the solid white line where they can then merge in behind the first car. I have also seen drivers speed up in protected lane until they gain enough speed to then pass the first car on the right side, then they cut in before they run out of lane. This usually results in the first car hitting the brakes because they don't know what that crazy driver on their right is doing! I want to put a sign on that corner that reads: Attention, the cars that are going past you on your left are moving 50mph!! This is a speed up so you can merge lane, not a stop and wait, then hope you can get into traffic that is going 50mph, from a dead stop before you run out of pavement, or get run into lane. Makes me wonder what they do when they are trying to get on the interstate??? After all 50mph is only 5mph slower than we used to run on the interstate!
